Raiza moved to the continental U.S. at 10 years old from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. As a Florida State University graduate who studied Criminology, she understands there are many more reasons, other than committing a crime, to end up involved with the criminal justice system. Because of this, she is passionate about seeking justice, and like STERN Law, firmly believes that you are more than the worst thing you may have done. As the Legal Assistant, she supports the STERN Law attorneys in the legal process every step of the way. Raiza considers herself an advocate for our clients. Her favorite STERN Law core value is "we don’t take no for an answer" and you will regularly see her implementing this value when communicating with various government offices to ensure our clients are heard.
In her free time, Raiza enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her dog, and discovering coffee shops! She also loves to educate people on incarceration and it’s lack of effect on deterrence!
